iMac Mid 2009 With Upgrades in Princeton, Newfoundland for sale

This iMac helped me through my engineering degree at the University of Victoria. It has been treated with the utmost care and respect. Used in a non-smoking environment, it has never been dropped and is free of water damage.
In August 2014 the computer components were upgraded after extensive research. The optical disk drive and existing 1TB hard drive were removed and replaced with a 250GB Samsung Solid-state and a 2TB WD green hard drive. The total cost of the upgrade was just over $400, not including the research and install. The machine runs cool and quiet with the high quality green drive, while the solid-state drive yields fast boot and application launch times. The memory was upgraded from 4GB to 8GB DDR3 SDRAM. The computer is running OS X 10.9.5 "Mavericks" which is recommended over "Yosemite" for its stability and less GPU intensive operation.
This computer is excellent for anyone looking to do word processing, internet browsing, basic photo and video editing, and all other daily computing needs. It won't stand up to heavy video and graphic editing which is why I am making the decision to part ways with the iMac.
